Creating a unique airport experience that celebrates flight
The design, with a double layered skin, kooks to occupy a compact form, inspired from the state bird of Rajasthan. AeroPod tries to bring Jaipur on to the world map while remaining routed in its cultural heritage – a futuristic representation of Jaipur.  Jaipur, known for its Havelis and hexagonal window patterns, is a dynamic facade that displays information to passengers inside and outside. The form looks to create a checkpoint experience based on the play of roof heights. The drop off is moved towards the middle of the airport, acting like a Haveli, that keeps the zone well shaded from the harsh sun, hence allowing maximum F&B Retail space utilisation during summers. This strategy gives a very different face for the terminal, compared to other terminals across the world which have their drop offs as the major elevation.
